There are those who are more concerned with keeping externally induced vibrations out, rather than dealing with the self-induced vibrations of the equipment itself. We believe that external vibrations are not the predominant cause of substantial sound degradation. And there are those who try and combat these problem by opting for “massiveness”. We go the other way – and “finesse” these vinrations by using certain fundamental principles of structural mechanics.
Microvibrations within any piece of equipment robs it of the fidelity it is capable of. Taalam solves the problem by using a 3 point support system both for each individual shelf, and for the entire rack. Support geometry is designed such that every point of support is precisely and identically loaded, and the centres of gravity of each piece of equipment is coincident with that of the rack as a total system. Each shelf, and the rack, is supported on stainless steel cones. This design ensures that equipment–induced microvibrations simply cannot exist.

Raagam cables use single high-purity 14ga solid-core
copper wire in “bare” form – with no dielectric coating
whatsoever. We have found that insulating materials detract from the purity
of the transmitted signal. We also believe that a single homogeneous wire
transmits the most cohesive signal as the signal is not being split and
channeled through multiple carriers.
Each wire runs loose within a hard yet flexible plastic sheath and passes through uniquely designed wooden stopper blocks at either end.
The cleanest transmission is effected when the conductor runs completely unaltered from amplifier to loudspeaker: no plating, no crimping, no soldering, and no terminating.
